i rebuilt the topend of my motor, it fired up and still fires up but revs up pretty high when given gas an doesnt come back down, now when my piston blew it went in alot of peices and ive been thinking it could be my crank seals doing this but then if i pull the choke out it runs normal, but doesnt have any pick up from the choke being on, i need help, someone help me before i give up, thank you

Have you, if not why not?

On a more serious note, did you split the cases and remove all, and I stress all the little bits of piston from the crancase and bearings?

I presume not, as you would have inspected the seals and replaced them along with the bearing while they were apart.

Do not even dream about starting the motor or the top end will soon be destroyed by flying debris.

Oops, no gasket, be prepared for a flattened piston crown!

Take heed of my second sig quote. Mmmmmmmm yet another candidate.

yes, the thing i didnt do was gaskets so i have an air leak somewhere im going to buy the topend gasket kit and try it out

piston didnt hit the head, already checked that out, thats the only thing i can think of, is the gaskets.
