guys im gonna need some help on this choice. shud i get new plastics. or bore mine to 280. or get back and front spacers

if you go to a 280 you wont notice any power difference. you will just make your cylinder's life shorter. also your engine will overheat.

only bore as much as you have to

yea brando is right maybe a .80 over. but what do you need the most? thats what you get. do you really need a rebuild is the bike running good? if it is. dont fix what aint broke. if your plastics look good just leave them be or paint them. if there all chewed up then get new ones. and if there alright looking and the bike runs id get wheel spacers

ok here's the deal, he's got a 240 kit, probably wanting to bore it .040 over. this equates to around 1.00mm over. this WILL NOT BRING IT TO A 280!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anyway just thought that i'd air that out. the biggest blaster kit is a 265, and that requires a 6mm stroker and heavy case work. just an FYI.

never bore a motor unless it needs it. you're just wasting the service life of the cylinder.

Some people have never had a math class in their life from some of the stuff I read.
