Well on the edges there is more, but enough bikes and atvs a sleds run the ice up here that usually there is a path worn down to just bare ice. Its like a super moto track. The snow does not build up in yours tires at all. Sliding is the fun part. More like hanging around the corners. With the studs on ice its like being on asphalt.
None of the pics are actually good pics of where the fun is really. the middle one, if you look at wisconsin on the map, is in between the main part of the state and the peninsula towards michingan. Screws = traction. I have about 400 in each rear tire. Some people say you dont want too much because you want to slide in the corners but thats like saying I like bald tires so I can spin in the mud. If you have enough hp, you will spin either way.
