ok so i was at my gfs watchin some sand drags and i was thinkin since a blaster and dt 200 motor are basically the same except the gearing and the liquid cooled topend that if your gonna drag a blaster and you have a crazy freakin set up like a ported ct high comp 4mm drag blah blah blah why not rip out a dt tranny and put it in your blaster for the top end you get from a street bike, almost every one knows a dirt bike street bike whatever is geared for crazy low end in lower gears and high end in the upper gears so putting a dt tranny in your crazy motor would lead to crazy lowend for a take off and high end for goin fast but thats my .02, and i just had to discuss my idea see what others think, dont call me stupid for thinkin out loud

As to my knowledge the blaster and dt200 are identical. No gearing change what so ever. The only difference is the head.

i think if ya go to macdizzy.com, he has a dt200 blaster, and says it is geared different, but was acceptable gearing

thats what i thought dts have to have different gearing for bigger tires and stuffs so it would gear a blaster higher i was thinkin

whivh would mean more topend pull but dirtbikes low gears have awsome pull too
