I have no idea what's wrong

So, I pulled my quad apart last week because it ran horrible. Turns out the vito's kit I had in it blew up. So i decided to switch back to a stocker with a wiseco piston. I just installed the Wiseco piston, and it seems like the quad is running exactly how it did before! The thing idles fine. It sometimes revs up. When it goes up the trail, it surges in power. The power comes in sometimes, and other times it cuts right back off. When I give it full throttle, it has no response whatsoever- the exhaust tone just gets deeper. As of right now, I have the stock cylinder on it with a wiseco top end. It has VForce reeds, and the reeds look a little bit chewed up on the upper edges- ever so slightly. It has a 26 mm carb with a 310 main jet in it. The airbox is a CFM, with a UNI filter. The exhaust is LRD and is from the cylinder back. I'm not sure if it's just improper jetting, or if the problem is within the reeds. I just don't want to blow up another cylinder.

I have not done a leakdown test yet. However, I just looked at the intake joint. It looks like the person who owned this before me took a file and shaved off the lip on the intake joint so that the vforce 3 reeds would mount flush to the joint. The petals on the reeds are chewed up as well. When everything is bolted together, the reed cage can acutally move I can see because of the missing lip on the intake joint. Thin this could be the problem?
