Whatzup guys.

So im new to this blaster forum and loving it already.
Just bought a Blaster past weekend for $400. It needs to be re-bored and new oversize piston and rings added. looks like the previous owners didn't have the oil- fuel mixture correct so it burned the sh*t out of the piston melting n part of it. It's currently on 1.00 oversize, so will probably go 1.25, cause even though it melted the cylinder still looks really good.
What is the maxed oversize that one can go on these cylinders?

90 over is the max and welcome to the forum.

The oil/fuel ratio may well have been right.

The problem could well have been the air fuel ratio, due to incorrect jetting or an air leak.

Before you pull it down do a leak down test.
