How important is the washer under main jet?

I just picked up my first blaster it runs not great i was told it just needed carb adjustments but ive been playing with it watching youtube videos come to find out it has no washer under the main jet and it looks like it should. Is that necessary and if so can i replace that instead of the entire carb?

Hi, I don´t know if the washer it´s important, but it is easy to put one similar and try, I think only it´s to avoid damage on the carb body thread.

But the plastic thing that it´s fitted to the main jet it´s very important, mine doesn´t have it and got some bad low range, I print a new one with a 3D printer, and now at low revs it´s much better.

on my banshee i dont run them cause they made me strip the jet... cause not enough threads lleft with the washer. so i rremoved it on both my carbs on the banshee. maybe my jet are not the right lenght but banshee runs fine without the rrings. i think hey just act as a extra seal between jet and what ever you mount it in

oww that is interesting. i never run them plastic inserts on any of my quads carbs. i do keep tthem but never put them back usual cause hwne i change jets they dont fit. but my banshee runs vm24 style carbs oem MIC from a rdlc 350 bike. but thy arre just like the fake vm24 you see.
my 2 blaster also run the vm24 but china ones. seems to run fine. didnt have a plastic part
but the stock blaster carb does. good to know its important i wont remove it when i put back hte oem carb
