how do i find out year of blaster..

New to this forum and new to the Blaster Community. Uncle just gave me his blaster along with the manual. It's definitely between an 88-02. How do I figure out the exact year?

Blue plastic body cover, silver frame, head and pipes are both black.

PS: Rear brake is pinned down to the rotor, no response from brake lever. What to do??

Definitely a noob, any help is appreciated.

It should be the 10th digit of ur vin

97 = V
98 = W
99 = X
2000 = Y
2001 = 1
2002 = 2
2003 = 3
2004 = 4
2005 = 5
2006 = 6
