I just got a 01 Blaster (first for me) had no spark, fixed that, and now im just getting everything back how it needs to be. The last owner had lots of the stuff removed. I am needing to know were some hoses go.
1. Carb has fuel on the left and a drip hose that hangs just below carb, 2nd drip and oil injection on right, and on the bottom? (is it the bowl overflow, and does it hang inside the forks of the swingarm or what?
2. Motor has a small nipple under the carb on the right, (crankcase breather or tranny overflow?) were does it go?
3. Right side of motor on or by oil injection cover (crankcase breather?) were does it go, or does it get a filter?
4. Gas tank tube, does it loop forward and point down in front of the motor, behind the steering?
Another thing, on the oil injection pump, if you take of the rubber cover on it, there is a small rod that moves in and out of the pump that is threaded on the end. Does there need to be a nut there, or what?
Is it ok to run 87 octane and some octane boost (about 6oz for 5 gallons)?
