I have a '87 TRX200sx, and its a clutchless semi auto, but when I gun it and let off and kick up, it makes a loud KNOCK! like solid steel on solid steel, I know its not a misfire, (it shoots a flame out the muffler when it misfires lol), it has been sitting for about a month, and just started doing this. It's still ridable and fires right up every time, but what's it doing? It only does this in the first 3 gears, once you really start to haul ass and kick into gear 4 and up to 5, it works smoothly.

Man it could be ALOT of things... Any chance we could get some audio? Some more info? Such as is it from the motor? Inside the motor? Right side/left side? Solid clunk/tinny clunk?

Can anything be seen shifting like axle, swingarm, motor shifting, hitting bumps coinciding with shifting??

I know its coming from the engine, not anything else, I couldn't tell ya where exactly, it just happens. My friend says its probably the change in the stress you put on the engine between gears, and its causing something to eff up.

I ripped it apart all night last night and couldn't find a problem. I'm stumped.
