hmmm, alternative to powdercoat?

i saw this on a gokart forum, and though i'd post it up, its kinda pricey, but cheaper than powdercoat, lol what do u guys think of it?

Ahh yes, POR 15. That stuff is awesome! But nothing compares to pc

Have you checked prices around you for PC? Different places vary...
Before I started working at my job my boss charged be $350 for my entire frame+subframe, a-arms and some small pieces. The raptor has over $750 of PC into it now. Now that I work there, i get everything done for free. For instance my entire YFZ is getting pc'ed for free

Call him up. Usually small places, you can work with them on prices and talk them down. It doesnt hurt to call em' up!

por15 is also used to coat and seal metal gas tanks that leak

Isn't that stuff almost like a colored epoxy? Yeah definitely find a place to do powder coating, I got to shoot and test some pieces at work recently and its awesome. The boss said if I buy my own coating I am more than welcome to use the gun and oven for parts.
