hi there,i need some help with a top end

I took the head off to inspect the bore and theres some decent scoring on the ex side.

I need to know if its cheaper to replace,rebore,or what.
resources on where to find used parts/cylinder would be awesome ,thanks in advance.

Well most rebore/hone/chamfer's cost about 50-60 bucks then a piston kit is anywhere from $60 cheapo to $100 weisco. Email this guy- Paul@woodwardspecialties.com

As far a boring and honing I have gone with Ken OConnor Racing, High Performance Motocross Engines, Performance Modifications, Motorcycle valve jobs, Motorcycle Crankshaft Rebuilds, Motocross Cylinder Porting, Motocross Cylinder Head Porting. He can also get youn the piston kit at a good price.

bore/hone/chamfer, then all new gaskets, and a leakdown test before you fire it back up.

rebore dude. have a shop measure it for you so that you know what piston to order. spend the extra for weisco it is worth every penny. or like slick said, send it to ken oconnor. he is awsome and will hook you up right. probably around 200 bucks out the door to get it runnin again.
