Hey Blasterforum, I am definitely getting a blaster, and I was thinking this is the place to start with the basics. I'm from Canada, and I'm wondering what the pros and cons are for a 2000 Yamaha Blaster 200cc?

The ones I already know:

Pros - Inexpensive, fast, durable.
Cons - Bad brakes and headlights.

Can you list anymore? Thanks guys.

Welcome to the forum!

Blasters have many pros and cons a few pros I can think of is cheap, easy to work on, 2STROKE!, light. A few cons-slow, lose money on resale, modding leaves you wanting more, not the best platform if your going to put lots of cash into, still get your ass handed to you buy bigger quads no matter how much money you put into it. But I think a blaster is a great fun cheap quad even if its on the slow side :)

welcome to the site pros and cons.

pros: : light, easy to maintain, 2stroke, pretty snappy, lots of modifications

cons: : isnt the fastest stock, need money for the mods for it to keep up with the big boys. brakes of course

pros: you can make them pretty damn fast on a budget
they are 2 stroke
They are really cheap and are fun as hell
Cons: poopy ass brakes
stock tires are sh*t
not that fast stock
