hesitation??

hey guys i removed my air box lid to put in my new 400ex rear shock, and it seems to hesitate before getting going again in the shifting on the low RPM's

it is jetted corectly for my wheather and mods, no air leaks at all tested recently


and also, anyone else that has air lid removed is yours alot louder after doing it to??? mines got a really deep rumble from it

yea it becomes alot louder, the airlid was blocking the noise before.

try a richer jet then if it gets worse go leaner

You have to bump your jet size larger with no lid.

adjust the airscrew..........

you should go up atleast 2 sizes for removing the lid

low rpm's...idle to 1/2 throttle is the pilot/airscrew
setting

its actually up one already for the temperature i have now, so the jets are right on...... i completely forgot about air screw so i will try that tomorrow and hopefully that will solve my problem.

up 1 for temps, up 2 for airbox lid removed.

Adjust the idle before you do anything, it affects the earlier needle settings.
