This help is not for my blaster but a fellow follower on instagram... His quad won't start and I want to point him in he right direction.. He just rebuilt his blaster it has spark it's getting gas reeds are good. tors is removed but won't start. Carb is clean and functioning properly I asked him to check his reeds and they are fine and is saying there's some oil on them.. Now he Is saying it's cranking up but dies.. I don't like seeing blaster like this so I thought id help him out the whole way until he gets his bike running again. What do you guys think ?

What do you guys think ?

i think you should have directed him to come join here :)

has he tried a new plug ?
sometimes a fouled plug will spark when testing against the head, but not under the pressure in the cylinder.

if everything he says checks out, i'd next check the woodruff key holding the flywheel in time, if broken it will spark, but not at the correct time

Some great advice you can give is to steer him away from starting fluid if temptation arises.

Very oily reeds are a sign of flooding too.
