help!

Most everyone know i just did a rebuild on the whole quad and the top end of my motor.... Heres the problem, i'm having trouble keeping oil in my bottom end/ i fill it up and next time i look there is none. And there is oil leaking from under my exhaust header, this oil is black, i'm not sure weather or not its from my premix or the bottom end. Would it be leaking if i'm missing one of the header bolts? it has all new gaskets on the top end and no cracks (that i can tell) in the bottom end

Next question is... In about 3 weeks i'm going to South Carolina for Spring Break and hopefully taking my quad, right now its jetted for 70-90 degree Ohio weather (summer time riding), Ohio's elevation is roughly 1000ft above see level. Would i need to drastically change the jetting for about 60-70 degree weather at sea level

nah , no rejet needed , 0-3000 feet is generally no difference , unless its lik 90 plus degrees , or super cold . worse case scenario take a couple extra plugs , do a chop and drop or raise the main jet . the oil leaking , seems to be a much bigger issue . get workin on it , only got 3 weeks before babe season opens

does it smoke bad and has loss of power could be crank seal

power is great, i haven't really gotten on it too much yet but everything is there. And it doesn't smoke, only when it first starts and i have extra oil in the gas take to play it safe on the new top end

my bike is doing the exact same thing with the oil leaking in the same place. i also just had my engine rebuilt
