OK guys I got my blaster like a month ago, It wasn't running great and crankseal was bad. I replaced crank seal, took tors out, replaced axle and chain. It was really hard to start but blowing the overflow hose a couple times was helping. I decide to adjust the float and tried 20mm with bad results. there was no fuel going into the bowl. So i adjusted again at about 16mm and fuel filter seemed to fill up about 1/4 and it was starting a lot easier but I felt like the rpms were not returning down as fast as it should be.
So I took it to the trails today and it was running ok but If I stop sometimes the rpms go really high.

Do not get mad at me but I still have a 230 main, the reason is that in my town you have to order everything so 270 should be here Thursday, and I have not done a leak test but as I said before, "it was running ok, not great but ok".

Is there anything you guys would suggest? I will be working on it as soon as I get the new jet.

i suggest hiding the keys and do not ride it again, until you leakdown test, adjust floats properly, adjust airscrew to highest idle, adjust needle up till it rich bogs then down one clip position, and plug chop main jets to perfection, or + 1 size to be safe
/\ in that order

or your next thread will be "which piston is best"

links to all that are in here........

#230 jet whan you know you should be using a #270.

Air leak, incorrect float setting all are recipies for disaster.

I may seem to be running ok but do not take chances of running it lean and burning the piston.

Keep your foot off of the kickstart until you have rectified all the problems you know you have.

Plug chop to confirm the jetting.
