I just got my cylinder back from ken and I'm trying to install it on my 2004 blaster but there is a nipple on the kickstart side on the cylinder and on the bottom end so I can't put it down on it
What do I do?

the locating pins should be in the cases, not stuck in the bottom of the cylinder.
pull the one from out of the cylinder.

but how did it get there ?
is this a different cylinder or bottom end than before ?

or better yet..... just call ken in the morning and he'll help you figure out whats going on.

Figured it out thank you so much. I was wandering does anyone know where I can get some weisco circlips? One of the ones I got back from ken didn't sit right and I afraid it might

the clip gaps either face up/or down...dont put them on sideways with gaps sideways.
also should be able to start half of it.then pushed other halve in with your fingernails.Or small object/just dont scratch or damage anything.

Ok so I started it today it ran great went forward turned it off started it again now it will only go in reverse. What did I do? I'm lost

sounds like a sheared woodruff key allowing the flywheel to rotate and the timing is off.
time to pull the stator cover to see if the flywheel is still aligned with the crank groove with the key.

a 2 stroke engine will run in reverse if started with the engine rotating in that direction, or if the timing is off.

not "jump out at you" obvious :)
you may be able to look down the groove in the crank and see if the groove of the flywheel is aligned with it, and the key is present ?

the better way is to pull the flywheel, you'll need a $10 puller from ebay, to be sure the key is there and aligned.
good idea to lap them together while you have it off, or if it has sheared.............

btw...you need the proper key, not a hardware store variety that doesn't fit correctly. ken oconnor has them on his website.........

I understand that, however my concern is why it won't run any more

if it is not producing spark at the correct time in the cycle, it will never run.
although I've yet to see you say that you did find the key missing or sheared, and the flywheel rotated off the timing notch ?
