Hello, new guy here, just bought a Blaster

Hello everyone, new Blaster owner here. I took a Blaster for a ride a few weeks ago and had a great time. It was for sale, so I bought it and a parts machine. I don't know much about them, but I'm going to be working on it over the winter. I've been reading the forums and soaking up all of the advice. It looks like my first item to work on is the rear brakes since they don't currently work! Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks!

Rear brakes not working is very common on the 88-02 models as they were manual cable activated caliper.
Check to determine if cable is froze up. Or even still there and check caliper if frozen.
Or you can go to hydro brakes with alittle fabrication work.

Thanks for the info. I ordered a Motion Pro cable. I'm going to try to rebuild the caliper while I look for a hydraulic rear caliper that will work.

I used a Warrior master, caliper, and resi. Mount master in same area as 03-06 . You don’t have to do anything special with the rotor because the caliper is floating too.

Will the caliper from any year Warrior work or just specific years?

I think they are the same thruout the years.
