Idling under no load isn't going to seat your rings.. Ride like you normally do without going crazy. The load on the engine will force the rings outward into the wall of the cylinder and seat the rings. Done it both ways, with compression checks after each way.
 
ok i just changed gaskets (base and head) and i did the break in a couple weeks ago after rebuilding it but i used vitos gaskets untill my cometics came in the mail thats why i changed them but do i have to break it in ago
 
I was talkin bout the WOT for 5 minutes, sounds crazy to me. The way i did my heat cycles was blip the throttle constantly, no more than half, until the head was to warm to touch, let her cool completely, then repeat a good 5 times. After that i rode around constantly varying throttle limited at 1/2 for sooo long then the same thing with 3/4. Now i got 20 hours on it and am ready to back the limiter out completely and give it hell.
 
if you read the description of the vid, it wasn't rebuilt, it was a already broken in motor from ebay, the kid is just apparently retarted and made the title rebult blaster

For god sakes, I know the damn thing aint a rebuilt engine, i could care less about the vid. I was only trying to point out the comments. The dumb MF'er dont know how to break stuff in. And the moron that posted the vid is exactly that, A MORON.
