I recently got a 2001 Blaster everything worked fine. Then all of a sudden my light quit working. The quad still runs n rides but yet the headlight don't seem to be getting power. Would this be a voltage regular issue or cdi issue? Thanx for any help.

Certainly nothing to do with the CDI, ignition and lighting are 2 different circuits.

I regulator is faulty there is usually power and the voltage will be high.

Check for loose ground or disconnected wire.

Switch could be faulty.

Not enough info to make any kind of rational assessment.
1 Does the tail light still work?
2. Are both high beam and low beam dead?
3. How did you determine that the headlight bulb is good? Did you check it with a multimeter? If so, then you should be smart enough to use the voltmeter function to trace the voltage to the point of the open circuit.
