head gasket issues

I bored my cylinder to a 68.25 mm piston .90 over stock...put it back together and my piston is hitting my head gasket. Is there a special head gasket I should have?

yes u need a 90 over head gasket

mine is bored 90over and i am runnig a stock head gasket with no problemss at all ..

there is no 90 over head gasket, just stock and high compression, but i cant see how it is hitting the gasket?

cant be the head gasket, did you install the base gasket???

ya you prolly installed it wrong or sumthin

You can use a 240 gasket kit or grind out the copper gasket so it will clear.

you dont need a bigger gasket... ive never used anything other than stock on my over bored blasters

you might have over torqued the base nuts and the head nuts. this would bring everything down onto the piston too close. it would also affect your squish band.

i figured it out. forgot to install the spacer down at the base gasket. its 3mm stroked so it needs it. got it all together started up and sounds great. thanks for the help tho

yea i used the 240 gasket and grinded it out a little ,
