Having issues

2000 blaster

I can kick start the bike

won't idle

lags real bad at take off untill rpms get built up

once it takes off it is very fast but engine revs really high and won't come down with out killing it or putting a load on the motor

I have taken the TORS off, but for the motor to run the control unit has to be unplugged

I was told the bike has a 240 kit in it but not positive

I am at a total loss I have changed the carb and still has the same issues

sounds like its running lean, Look up how to do plug chops, and how to re-jet your bike so we don't see another "oh I blew it up today" thread.

sounds like an airleak, and if you've removed the TORS from the top of the carb, you need to remove it entirely, including the switch in the throttle.

do a leakdown test to figure out the airleak

I would do the leak down first. That's a common problem. If you have a air leak it will cause all kinds of problems, eliminate that first then go from there.
