here's a vid I did a month ago in boxcar in the oregon sand dunes recreational park. Lots of folks out there on the rid, having fun and rockin a GoPRO!

It's a very sweet spot to ride. That sand is the sand that is in Hawaii. They take all the white sand from Oregon because 90% of the sand in hawaii already is from pumas from volcanic activity.

haha we do not have ANY gps of any kind out there, but we frequent a couple of camp sites so we get to know where everything is around them and always have a static route to camp if all else fails.

Usually we'll camp in the south western most corner of the dunes so all you need to do is ride out to the beach, go south on the beach until you reach the NO VEHICLES BEYOND THIS POINT sign and take that main inlet road back to the dunes, and our camp is on that road so we can't really get LOST per say, but we can certainly get stranded. That is where having 20 mile 2-way radios really pays off.
