I just received my "generic" shredders on Douglas .190 wheels today!! They bolted right up and performed GREAT!!! I had the stockers on so you can imagine how exited I was once I took them for a ride. Seems like the gearing is "just right" Now I can lug the engine down low when stealthness is required without a whimper from the engine. Nice and smooth! Also 5th and 6th gears pull to the top much quicker and the quad stays in the powerband through out all the gears! I am so suprised what an opened up airbox, 170 main, and smaller flatter tires (along with correct gearing) can do for this quad!!! It also mad the stance wider too to about 43 inches in the rear. This thing is startingto feel like my '88 TRX 250r. BUT SO MUCH CHEAPER!!! Without a pipe or topend teardown, what would you guys recommend next to continue these gains? Reeds? Rad valve? 1.125" front wheel spacers? Do we like the 4 degree advance mod? Thanks!
