Well i got vitos kit and i understand that on the 2006 you have to unplug the cable going to the carb, unplug the cable to the throttle housing, and unplug the cable to the parking break. So i got that now where exactly to you drill the hole in the stock carb?Is it the piece that is sticking out a little up to your left above the air screw?Anybody got any pics?

hmmm

I think you are going about it the hard way, but, since you ponied up the coin..

You will be installing an idle screw. I hope they supplied you with the drill bit and tap?

Best thing to do id go to the ridin dirty site Randelator turned me onto.

Boomer | Rydin Dirty

There are instructions there.

Well thanks to Randelator also for this info I:I
It would be cool if you could add some of that info to this sites DIY section.

Well

What I meant by the hard way is you can leave the carb alone and just unhook the TORS. Pretty much just leave well enough alone. Your way is far cleaner and you get the added ability for idle adjustment with the fuel screw. I think most of the crew is either too lazy or broke/cheap to get the kit. Not to mention for not much more money you could have stuck a bigger carb on it, like a Keihin and they already have the choke idle on it, plus a little bit of an upgrade with a bigger carb if are going to do some power mods.

Anyway, good luck!!

Well i guess your right.I do plan on doing some modding on the top.Maybe port and mill the head. What size carb do you think i should get?It will be around summer before i do anything to it...

Depends

All depends on what you are going to do with it. I'd say stay in the 30-36mm range. A 36 will feed about anything and is too much for most. I got a 34mm and some good mods with the Vito's. Seem real nice so far. That said I used the jets that came with the kit and had the stock 28mm Mik. screamin', too. It's all in what you want and feel comfy with.

Im sticking with the stock jug.So i think im getting an aggressive trail port job.Mainly for some trail ridding.I think im going to get Flotek to do the work.I have to save up a few more dollars..I was thinking of getting a 30mm carb.I dont want to change the intake boot.

Please help

:( Well i put the vitos tors removal kit.Everything went well but it still wont start. The carb is getting gas and the plug was all wet when i pulled it.I rechecked compression and it was almost 140psi.I had a spark tester and when i kicked it over it looked like is has fire.OK i took the front cover off and just disconnected the throttle switch and disconnected the rear EM brake switch.Took the tors brain off and disconnected it.I also took the flywheel cover off and the outside of the flywheel has alot of crud on the outside of it and also a little rust.I wiped it out the best i could. So do i need to cut some other wire to one of those switches and connect them or what?I also put some gas in the head then put the plug back ,still wouldnt fire. Please help ,this is a 2006 blaster

I also just read something about splicing the throttle switch wires together to make it run.I would hate to just cut the wires if i dont have to.
