Good going up...Bad coming down

Quad runs perfect on the gas, but as soon as you let off it bogs. Get on the gas and it's fine with no hesitation. Tried a differant carb, new plug, and clean filter. Anyone had this happen?

I just checked and cleaned them and this was the first ride. They are v force and maybe not set in good. That may be it..I'll check Thanks

the v-force cages are known for being hard to seal up, and causing airleaks, i think i heard of using double gaskets, i must have gotten lucky, 2 sets, vf2's and vf3's, and both seem sealed

There not leaking, already did a leak down. I also use gaskets and yama bond, so I never have a problem with leaks. I am hoping that there is a issue with the petals tho, because I really am at a loss. Been racin 2 strokes for 4 years and thought I had seen it all, guess not :} I'll figure it out tommorrow.

Hey AWK, guess you do know it all. It was the reeds not closing. I don't know if my cage is worn out or what but it wasn't holding the outside bottoms tight enough. I did alittle shim work and all is good. Thanks reps
