okay, i bought a blaster a while back, no probs, just a pipe with a lot of holes i've never welded up..
At one point i had to heli-coil the head pipe on, because at idle it would idle higher, higher, and higher, till you had to either ride it or kill it. Once i got the head pipe on nice and good it idled fine.
Now some days this thing runs fantastic, seems all powerful..
Other days, i've been noticing a lot lately, it seems to be running sluggish, and i have a hard to hitting the powerband. On those days, it won't even idle without bogging to its death. :o
Now on these days, to get it to idle you can sort of move the clutch cable around and you'll find a spot. But i really want to get this fixed.
I did adjust the clutch a little a while back to where it could idle, but it always seems things just wiggle back and it slugs again.
What do you guys think? New exhaust, clutch adjustment?
I know it needs a lot of stuff, $200 could make this a nice quad, but as i said its just a beater, i don't want to put much in this bike at all, my real baby is my 400ex. :D

Yup, with all those leaks going on, you need to see what the compression is like.

The idle problem, seems like you need to leak test it to find out if it is sucking air.
