Im currently running regular low-grade unleaded gas. A few friends have been saying I should run higher octane gas... What should I be using?

i usually use the low grade gas and it seems to work fine. sometimes i put in a little octane boost tho when i go on long rides
i dont think so. i have always used it on anything ive ever ridden i never had it mess up anything
I use 91. Use the highest octane you can get at the pumps. Your blaster can hold 2.4 gallons of gas. Getting 91 instead of 87 is going to cost you like 50 cents more than getting the low grade stuff. That is not a lot of money at all.
The higher octane gas like 93 around me does not have the ethanol in it.Only reason I would run it.
Alright, I'll start picking up some 91 then. Does it make the engine overheat or anything like that?
Thats another thing, make sure your not burning ethanol in your machine. The only thing that ethanol burns well is in Indy Cars. Try and stay away from the "cheaper" price gas stations and use Chevron of Shell, something that does not cut their gas with ethanol.
