First off, I'm a newbie, just bought a 00' Blaster and I was cruising around and went to go park it in the garage which I was rolling in backwards into (engine still running) and I stalled it on accident and as it rolled backward a bunch of gas came out the carb. overflow. So I shut off the fuel and started it to get rid of excess gas? After it was running on off, I switched it back to on did a lap and everything seems good. It seemed to me that that's what it's supposed to do, hopefully I'm right?I:I

The abrupt stop could have caused the gas to climb the wall of the float bowl dumping some into the overflow .

It may pay to see if the plastic slosh baffle is fitted to the carby.

I have had the same problem, except mine... did NOT stop flowing. I had to drive it back to the house with the gas off, when it died, i filled the carb again and drove till it ran out, i didnt want it pouring out as i drove, so i figured that filling and killing ought to work.

My problem was that the float had been stuck, actually it had a crack or something and it filled with gas causing it to stay down. Luckily I had an extra at the house, so it's all good now.

But if it happens again, start a thread here and check that float.
