i was going to change the front brake lever on my 04 blaster when i noticed the bolt on the top just pulled out.is that normal?literally i just "pulled" it up and the lever came out.is that bolt suppose to be connected to the one at the bottom?that one unscrewed out but the two were not connectedis it suppose to be like this?

its the pivot bolt for the lever..it just like sits in there..i can pull it out and put it back in
is it supposed to have a nylock nut underneath where the threads stick down thru ?
S**t well it has two different bolts..i bought it used and didnt know any better :-/ do you happen to know where i can get one or another one and size possibly
most lever bolts have a long smooth shoulder and should not be replaced with a full thread bolt or the threads will eat the aluminum every time the lever is pulled.
use the correct bolt, take it to the hardware store and find the correct nylock nut for it, i'm thinking m6 size, you'll need to match the threads
