Ok so my motor is fresh and I put it all back on and when I first went to start it I felt like I was kicking forever once it warms up its fine to restart even when it cools down its still easy but after it sits for awhile it is hard again I'm still in the process of tuning and jetting but what could cause my problem could it be the float not set right or something else?

Winner winner, chicken dinner I:I, that's a good place to start. Did you clean the carb before you put it together? Pulled the pilot jet to make sure ALL the little holes are open? How about the choke? I like to blow air through every hole/passage both ways to make sure its spotless B).

Low float, dirty pilot, blockage in fuel enrichment circuit all will cause cold starting problems.

Have you leak tested it since rebuild, and air leak can too make for hard starting.
