i just buaght a fmf header pipe and i have a dg slip on what would be a good jet to run for that i am runnin a 250 jet also is that fine if i run that its a 2000 blaster
 
Fmf calls for a 260 main, by itself. Premix up, foam filter up, lid removed up, but these are estimates a plug chop is necessary to confirm. Temps and elevation play a role as well. 250 might be ok if everything else is stock, but again only a plug chop can tell you.

thanks for the advice
need more. 260-300 depending on mods. i have a 290 and it ran ok the 20 min i got to... never was able to plug chop yet

my bike is not to stock it has a open air lid new race ready filter power reeds high preformance coil and a 30.bore
 
A leak test is to make sure the engine isn't pulling extra air, there's lots of threads on here about it, just search. Whats your elevation and temps
