Fmf fatty gold series

Hey guys so ive posted before about getting dmcs well ill just cut to the chase i found a fmf fatty gold series on ebay for $90 it was a steal so i had to buy it but i looks like it doesnt come with the flange that connects to the cylinder... could i get my stock header flange to work ? thnx guys

I believe theres some guys on here who have welded the stock flange on to their fmf pipe, so that would be an option for you. And is the pipe in good condition? Only $90 would make me a bit skeptical. Pics or it didnt happen haha

You could remove the rust from the pipe and paint it with header paint.

Yeah I'm gonna. Try to get rid of rust but I won the bid a couple days ago and just bought it yesterday

How could I paint it when it's chrome

Use a scotch brite pad to knock the rust off, then polish it to a shine with some aluminum foil. There is a thread about the foil somewhere on the forum.

It works good, and will make it look shiny again.

If its not pitted you could get it to shine great again with some polishing. Mine is pitted in a few spots and I couldn't polish it out but the rest still looks great
