i just bought an fmf sst pipe and powercore 2 silencer.... i think i need a new exhaust collar but idk if i even need one? do i or can i just use high temp silicone?

I was told its no good to run a 2 stroke with that exhaust port able to breathe air in. Im told it could cause you to run lean and burn the piston up.
they are a good name and i got my whole sst pipe and silencer brand new for 200$ so i bought it.
So, just curious, I have the FMF Gold, but stock silencer I think. What silencer should I get that will bolt up to it? A powercore?
Everyone has one because of the name. It is massive in the race world and has a good rep on bikes and what not. Personally mine came on the blaster when I got it, had a chance to get another but decided to keep it because it is also quieter.
Now the piece you are talking about is a pain in the ass. Some people can cut the end off the old one rendering that old pipe useless and use that piece to connect them. I think you can contact FMF and get one that way, but be prepared to pay from them. Check ebay as well if you have the name of the piece. Might be on there. Get a new gasket just to be safe as well, even though you are talking about a different piece. Maybe a local exhaust shop could help you out too.

I got mine for $65.Thats why i have an FMF pipe.It's way to hard to get info to deside on what pipe to get.There is no one pipe that people will say is the best.You will have 50 people say that one pipe is the best and 50 that say it's not.
