flywheel removal

I know I post a lot guys but don't get annoyed just yet.

When you remove a flywheel along with the stator etc.. is there timing?

if I were to completely take the flywheel off and change the seal is there a certain way you have to put it back together or can you just slap it on ?

There is a key in there that locates the flywheel to the crankshaft, no timing is needed!

And do not just slap it on it must be torqued to 53 ft lbs.
