fly wheel cover?

So I've seen a couple people riding with there flywheel covers off n I seen people with it cut off of the chain cover I like the way that looks but is it smart to leave the actual flywheel cover off

No never ride with fly wheel cover off I have no idea why someone would do that

And here is a person riding with out the cover. baggy pants on and loose shoe laces on. Fail n the making. But he installs it after 1st ride.

Edit: Oh and he is a dumb ass with no helmet on.
