first top end (completed)

i did my first top end tonite after work but sadly it was a 4 stroke.it was my lt4wd. it wasnt as bad as everyone said it was but i did have my clymer manual handy. i got all my parts at my local dealership (has yamaha kawasaki and suzuki). appently my cylinder was so bad that they had to bore 1.5 mm over so they had to order a wiseco piston because suzuki only goes to 1 mm over. but all in all for parts and bore the total was $202.22. i dont think its that bad as parts was $138 then $50 for a bore.

but as i stated in the title this was my first one complete
i actually tore down my X-2 in august but i am a waiting the cylinder form the porter I:I (should be here before christmas)

yeah but the only down side is that i forgot to buy oil so i cant fire it up yet!

little update i got oil yesterday it turns over nicely but i forgot about the pressure release and so its out of wack luckly it will only require removing the valve cover

lol yeah i got it reset now im waiting on the rtv to cure. the only reson that i noticed it was because it was not pumping gas to the carb (has a fuel pump run off vacuum)

ok i got it running and did the first break in and i checked my plug and it was lean the only thing different about it was that it was bored 1.5 mm over. i also noticed that it would not idle. the current main jet is 100 and the pilot is 22.5. what would a good range to buy?
