Well I got a motor for her now. I worked a trade for an 03 kx250 motor with a brand new fmf gnarly head pipe. The motor has a fresh weisco bottom end resleaved cylinder and a pro x piston. The motor needs some assembly as well as a few parts. So far I know I need some misc bolts, side covers, pressure plate, clutch, and Cdi box and wiring harness. Ebay here I come lol. I can't wait to get the motor together and in the quad.

Pro-X are known to be sh*t, I'd take it out ASAP, get a Wiseco. Nothing better than that except if your going with a Big Bore, then you need Wossner....

EDIT: Didn't see that post from EvilElvis, but hes right.

Well luckily the pro x isnt installed yet so I can do that before I put the motor together.

Well the motor is mounted in and the pipe is on. Just have to fab some front motor mounts and make some mounts for the pipe.

Man not hating on wiseco cause its what i use, but i tried to always run oem or prox pistons in my yzs, imo the oem and pro x are identical to stock, and they come in four stock sizes A,B,C, and D, where wiseco only comes in one size for each bore.. So you can see there can be clearance issues, i have watched way to many wiesco pistons shatter in high revving bikes like the kx.. the oem piston will actually egg shape before it will shatter.. Just my thoughts man but for the blasty i run the wiseco, but it doesent require to be quite as tight of a motor as the kx..
