final drive gearing

Can you guys give me some ideas on what size spockets i should put on my 2003 blaster for more top end speed as now i have the stock gearing of 13/40. I was thinking about going to 13/42 but then i dunno what size chain to run.

whats done to the bike?? tire size?? start with a 14 tooth countershaft sprocket.. remember bigger front/ smaller rear = faster smaller front /bigger rear = quicker

ported strocked CT top end with big carb, big tires and biggerfront/ smaller real = haul ass!!!

i run 14:40 it seems to be a good all around gearing..

the only thing my bike has done to it is the oil injection is removed, full fmf fatty pipe and powercore silencer. 260 main jet with the needle at the 3rd position and airbox removed.
