Anybody else here into growing vegetables or anything? The planting season is finally about here in Pennsylvania.I am growing jalapenos, sweet corn, indian corn, green beans, yellow beans, red tomatoes, yellow tomatoes, plumb tomatoes, onions, beets, green bell peppers, cayenne peppers, okra, watermelon, pumpkins, thai hot peppers, red potatoes, yukon gold potatoes, pickling cucumbers, zuccini and a couple other things yet to be determined. You don't really need a huge space to grow vegetables either, all of this will be planted on about a 15 acre plot which is small compared to the couple hundred acre farms here. But for a family of 4 you only need about 1 acre to have vegetables all year.Between my driving job and the field I am going to have a very busy summer!Gotta make sure to find a lot of riding time too!

It's not really that hard at all. There are harder parts like planting and harvesting, but the regular maintenance is fairly easy even with a full time driving job.
