I'm at a toss up vitos fat bastard or dynoport big volume my mods on the motor r .30 shaved off the head running 92 octane bored out .040 over with mild port and polish save me I can't choose !! P.s I'm looking for top end pipe

from what i've been seeing on here the dyno-port, should handle future upgrades too

If your looking for a top end pipe, dyno port also makes a topend pipe. The high volume is more of a mid range pipe for mx racing, imo

I'm running a custom made high volume dyno port cone pipe. My pipe has five or six different sized cones welded together instead of the regular stamped out design. The guy that built my motor called up dyno port and had them make it for the mods that my motor has. As far as I know, its a one off pipe. Heres a pic of how they welded the cones together

sounds expensive... lol
i like my LRD and know a few that stand behind them.

lol. The price was kinda cheap, I thought. $300 for the pipe and $100 to have it chromed. I was going to go with an lrd but was told for the motor that I've got the dyno port would be better. My 330r will definately be getting an lrd.

whats all done to ur motor and which rpm does ur pipe have the most gains .... which 1 is the top end pipe that dynoport makes?

I've got a vito's 240 kit, +3mm stroker crank, cylinder ported, head cut, v-force 3 reeds, 35mm airstryker carb. My motor and pipe is all mid range. 2nd through 5th gear is where all my power is at, I'd say.

It depends on your current modes and planned mods. For a stock or mildly modded engine the Vito's will improve the power but another pipe might be better. For the build in my sig. Kennedy told me he chose the Fat Bastard because it produced the best topend for the tune of my engine and expected riding- dunes, desert, and fireroads. I have spoke with him about a dune onlt package that takes my wheel horsepower to 38 and he still recommended the Vito's.

i spoke with angus he recommended the vitos for me as well but said he never dealt with or dyno'd a dyno port .... going with the stock over the top of the cyclinder pipe seems like it would cause more heat there right side pipes seem like they would run cooler it just makes more sense but thats just speculation .... ive also heard that in a pipe shootout Lrd was rated number 1 but i couldnt find the thread as that seems to b a big pricey and its similar to the F7 and the dynoport
