Exhaust color

Hello

I have a 2006 blaster i just bought 2 weeks ago, ran great but the intake hose was cracked so i replaced it with a custom one we made.

off the carb to a 3" pipe to a K & N filter with a sock to keep out the fine sand.

after opening up the intake it almost wouldnt run, after trying to adjust the air/fuel to no avail I added a larger jet , original in there was a 160 tried a 200 jet and it got better but still starving for fuel.

we then added a 310 jet which was almost perfect with a little fuel staving at high revs.

I added a 340 jet and now it is running perfect and the Plug looks good too.

question is my stainless fmf exhaust in the front header is now BLUE..?

Why is this ...?

because it was ran really hot and the color started to deteriorate.. i think thats what i was told... and i dont think there is anyway you can get that color back

heat causes that, its pretty common!

i dont think that would work. the metal has been altered by the heat.

nope your right, its not something you cant take off, its just always gunna be there
