Engine help!!!

Hey Guys,

I just put my ride together this evening and start the motor up for the first time-since rebuild. The engine popped right off after a few kicks. Runs good and idles good, but it seems to be really shaky! The motor runs like a harley!? IT Vibrates soo strong. The power is there and all is well, but when I rev the motor it makes it almost unbearable. The handlebars/steering stem shake bad! The kick start move a little too!

I am curious if any of you may have a solution to this issue!!! I just rebuilt the engine. New clutch, piston, rings, gaskets, etc. Is this what happens when the engine ballancer fails? Is this an easy fix? I am at a loss.

The counter balancer sounds like it is out of time. Pop off the clutch cover and check that the alignment dots are lined up!

Sounds just like mine when the gear and bearing blew out X(. DON'T run it any more. Either way gotta pull clutch cover and have a look. If you had gear off crank, timing might be the issue, if not.................X(

I have never heard of that! I agree with them above, sounds like the counter balance is doing something wacky on ya

I'm sure the counter balancer is out of sync. There are alignment dots on the primary drive gear and the coutner balancer gear to line them up correctly.
