Hello everyone, just came across this place a couple days ago, and have been basically reading everything I can, trying to retain as much as I can, lol. I own a '88 blaster that my dad got for 100 bucks that wasn't running. Upon doing some digging figured out that it had a blown reed, after fixing that it started on the first kick. Well after riding it for awhile it finally dropped the piston that wasn't in the greatest of shape to begin with. We just recently had it bored out and got a new piston installed and got it back up an running, I also have a banshee thumbthrottle ordered to convert back over from the twist throttle that was on it. It still needs some work but it will do what I want it to do. I still need to get some rear brakes for it and the front a-arm bushings are starting to show some wear, but I need the money first. Anyways, awesome site, and I hope to learn lots here.
