ok so my stator went bad i am thinking i tested it one side is working but i think that is for all the other stuff lights and stuff like that so i riped a bunch of wires out and just got the one from the stator to the coil and brain hooked up but still no spark so i am worried i took to many wires out i am not worried about having the lights and stuff i just want the engine to run.. do you need the voltage regulator hooked up for the engine to run?

If I remember correctly,the stator has 4 wires.Only 1 is for the lights,the rest go to the cdi.You don't need the regulator to run.

ok i was jw i tested my coil packs and the primary is bad and the lighting is good.. but i got a used stator on the way off ebay i got for $30 like a steal..
