after putting the new reeds in today we ended up opening up the dynojet kit and was planning to grow a jet in the carb while it was off to use as a starting point to see where i need to set the jetting when its back togather.

but.... seems all the jet sizes they included are totaly useless.. i thought the most common jets that would be included would be 260-290 the kit totaly skipped that whole area and included:
200
210
220
340
350
360

are these useless or do they just have a different numbering than others?

i think i found individual jets i can buy from vito's performance but not sure if they are for the stock carb they are called KEIHIN HEX STYLE MAIN JETS do those work with stock carbs?

The DynoJet kit's have the same # as the stockers but are not sized the same as the stockers, they are just moving the fuel curve when used with their needle, I bought one for the GF's Polaris the same # jet was visibly SMALLER! it was a waist of my $$$, I used their needle and the original jet, I still need to get a bigger jet!

would these work? Mikuni Genuine Mikuni Main Jet - Size 270

its in the snomobile section but you'd think mikuni jets would be mikuni jets weather used in snomobile or in quad. its the only place i can find to order them one at a time and right now i can only afford 3 sizes was thinking maybe i should get

270
280
290

what do you think considering my mods listed in my sig?

edit forgot to add to my mods that ill be running either no lid or most of the lid removed and replaced with a hepa air filter material

idk why it wouldnt work right???? cuz a jet is a jet and if its for the same build of carb then why not right???
mikuni also makes like 3 other styles of jets. im not sure which type the blaster carb takes

is it the same carb and jets as banshee? i did see banshee listed for applications on one of the sets

You are asking some good questions. I am in the exact same boat. The kit you have is correct with the jets they give you. It offers stage 1 or stage 2 options. The smaller three are for stage 1. You would probaly would use the stage 2 options. I actually emailed DynoJet about this same questions. They said the jets are same as oem, but the needle with their jet changes the fuel curve. Im going to run stock silencer, pro cirucit pipe, k&n filter, lid on, .20 over.. The kit says to use a 220main, I thought HUGH? So I asked, and they totally avoid my question. Just answer like,,, the 240 main does not belong in your kit, it is the stock one,, Does not answer why you should run a smaller jet with aftermarket stuff. Dumb kit,,,,,,,

The Dynojet main jets for your ATV are the same as the stock jets and are not marked with DXP. The jet kit does not include a 240 main jet.

The Stage 1 settings are for use with the stock airbox and with the stock or an aftermarket exhaust. The tip of the needle has a larger affect on the main jet size. The Dynojet needle has a smaller tip allowing for fuel though the main jet.

This is what they told me,,,

i just ended up ordering some from the dennis kirk website got 280, 290, 300. now im just hoping i got the right style of jet. should know soon they said it would ship today
