I got the the dyno jet kit and it said to but in a 460 main and new needle.
I did and it run awsome but is this to big? I am kinda new at this but this sounds to big to me.

dyno jet kit numbers and mikuni jet numbers are not the same. normally the DJ are bigger numbers than mikuni for similar flow. but only way to check jetting is plug chop.

yeah, like i bought the same kit im guessing as him. But i also looked at what fmf would reccomend, they said 260, and so did dyno jet. But i ordered a 270 and now i gotta do that plug chop when i arrives.

you dont know the sync tool since you only run one carb.
and i bought my jet piece by piece from the local dealership.

i was going to have jeff at FASTracing make me a kit off all the kits and a needle for my setup. just haven't gotten around to it yet. waiting till it warms up to get into the fine tuning of the jetting.

Mine said for the stage 2 but with the altitude it said to use a 460. But if they are different numbers than the stock, they may be the same.

$30, jeff told me it would be $50 shipped for a nice range of jets.

depends, jets only cost 2 or 3 bucks, but you dont need 10+ jets, instructions will say what jets to use. But with your mods around a 290/300/310 is what u need and the kit i said comes with a needle But u really might want a new bigger carb

if you ride at a lot of places, and your engine isnt stock, you need a range of jets.
i was getting a range to cover all basis.
with altitude change you need to rejet, with temp change you need to rejet. with new mods you need to rejet. i was getting them to also have for the future.

oh alright my bad shee, like i though u were only doin one carb and stuff. But i gotcha

i am only doing one carb, but i asked him for a decent range of jets.
it was 10 mains, 5 pilots and a needle for $50 shipped.
