If I look at it closely I can see a little ridge like the top has been grinded down. I am having the problem of gas leaking through the bowl through a gas vavle on it.Im doing a good cleaning of the bowl.

Here's a video of it:

I think the video is still processing right now, but it should take too long.

If this is the rubber tipped float valve you're talking about, and you can clearly see a ridge, then yes, you will need a new one, most of the rebuild kits include that needle for under $20.
but they can be expensive when bought seperately

That's some hardcore blaster motivation to be taking a vid of your carburetor while with family on xmas eve.

Especially right now at 1:17 A.M. Got a whole bunch of fishing stuff for christmas.. Piranahmax 170 fish finder,41 lb thrust trolling motor, fishing box loaded with stuff, camo sweater, and of course.. I got myself a blaster.

Take out the main jet washer under the main- and the pilot jet unscrew the choke too then the airscrew careful theres a spring in there, then spray all that stuff individually then with compressed air, get yourself a piece of foil to lay everything on so there is no lint on anything. once cleaned and dried- reassemble check float level adjust as necessary. put the airscrew back in all the way till it stops then back out 1.5 turns!
