Im currently running a fmf fatty pipe and powercore 2 silencer. iv seen the DMC pipes on ebay and im wondering if they would be a improvment over my fmf system.?

In my opinion they are much the same, with the DMC having more in the low region than the FMF.
The DMC coupled up with a reed spacer block between the reeds and the jug, and a +4 timing mod, has a great amount of power down low.

you can, but hes saying the DMC pipe has better low end power which would go nice with a reed spacer, where as the fmf pipe hits more in the middle.
Yup the spacer will work with the FMF, the only difference is that the DMC seems to come on to the powerband at a lower rev.
Although a reed spacer will add no power, they do move the powerband up or down, depending where it is inserted.
If between the reeds and the jug, the powerband comes on earlier.
If between the reeds and the carb boot, the powerband comes on later.
It is a lot of money for a little block of metal but if you want to shift the powerband it does work.
My lad uses one and the powerband comes on strong in the low region.
